Philadelphos

I love this handsome guy!

I was designing all these cubs for a sort of genealogy thing for my fictional Valley Of The Kings pride, and most of the ones I made were unremarkable...but when I made him I instantly fell in love with his design. He is quite possibly the best designed lion I have.

Named for Egyptian Pharaoh Ptolemy II Philadelphos, my Philadelphos is a likable young lion with a sharp tongue and a suave disposition. His mother was Princess Artaxerxes III, but since he was not chosen to be Crown Prince, he left the Valley of the King's pride with male half-brothers and friends to start their own lives as rogues or to create satellite prides as all young non-princely males were expected to do.

I don't have much more about him, because he wasn't meant to be so important, but I just love him so much I had to show him off ^-^ Besides, considering where I live, he's a perfect match
